The Summer Machine
Summer Machine was a pre-debut mixtape written by Shonen Ultra in 2016 while they attended high school. The project features moody, minimalistic lofi production from R00K1E, ALEX, Tomppabeats, It’s Okay, and Secondsun.
An experimental project recorded and mixed on an IPad, The Summer Machine displays the early songwriting and production styles that would evolve into a fuller sound and artistic identity.
